Anthony is a tireless advocate for the people of Christchurch.
Since 2010 he has worked with families who are struggling to find safe, secure and affordable housing after the Christchurch earthquakes.
Appointed to the Advisory Board of the Christchurch Earthquake Appeals Trust, Anthony championed projects that strengthened communities, as well as helping the small business sector get back on its feet.
Every day Anthony sees the direct impact of National’s policies that make it harder for families to get ahead.
Labour wants to give every New Zealander access to the Kiwi Dream. Anthony is proud to stand for the party with the aspiration to do this.
As a strong representative for Ilam, he’ll fight the sale of state homes and promote the building of more affordable housing in Ilam, so future generations can enjoy this beautiful area.
He’ll work directly with ECAN and the council to ensure our water returns to the quality we’ve traditionally enjoyed, and push for better funding of the Canterbury DHB to ensure that mental health services have the resources they need.
Anthony, a Baptist Pastor, has lived in the area for much of his life. He is married to Rhonda and has three adult children.
