Hon Annette King to visit Waitakere

Hon Annette King is doing a whirlwind tour of Waitakere on Wednesday 8 October to check out many of the community initiatives relating to safety and security in Waitakere City.

 First up is a meeting with the Police, Safe Waitakere, the Maori and Pacific Wardens and Neighbourhood Support representatives.

 This will be followed by a tour of the brand new Youth Facility - Global Café - and a ‘walkabout' in Glenmall in Glen Eden.

 "This is a great opportunity to showcase all the hard work and community leadership we have in the West", said Lynne Pillay, MP for Waitakere
