National already breaking promises on climate change

National leader John Key's u-turn on the Emissions Trading Scheme is his first broken promise, the outgoing Minister for Climate Change Issues David Parker said today.

Maori Party hui shutting out Maori people

The Maori Party‘s reluctance to include all Maori as part of its consultation process with National is a very worrying sign, Maori Affairs Minister Parekura Horomia says.
"The Maori Party is shutting huge sections of the Maori community out of these hui with emails stating 'For Maori Party members only' and 'please pass this notice to your networks of Maori Party members'," Parekura Horomia said.
