Ngatimoti School to benefit from $14m investment

Ngatimoti School near Motueka is one of 31 schools nationwide to receive funding for new school buildings courtesy of a $14 million investment," West Coast-Tasman MP Damien O'Connor said today.
The funding, announced by Education Minister Chris Carter recently, comes from the School Property Deficiencies Guide Programme, an annual discretionary fund aimed at addressing high priority deficiencies in state school buildings.

Funding for improved West Coast sewerage systems

Two West Coast communities will receive government funding to improve their sewerage systems, Associate Health Minister and West Coast-Tasman MP Damien O'Connor announced today.
The funding is part of over $23 million going to10 small communities nationwide as part of the government's Sanitary Works Subsidy Scheme, announced by Mr O'Connor today.
