Dear Editor

It was great to see so many families at Toddlers Day Out at the Trust Stadium.

The turn out of Westie families was tremendous and there was everything there - from cloth nappies to face painting, to massage, to early childhood education and parenting programmes – all promoting healthy lifestyles and healthy children.

It was an opportunity to celebrate our children and the great job our parents are doing.

My congratulations to Violence Free Waitakere and the Early Childhood Education Network for bringing together our communities, families and organisations so successfully.

Well done.
