National misleads over migration statistics

Immigration Minister Clayton Cosgrove said it has been revealed that the National Party has tried to mislead the New Zealand public by using false figures in its immigration policy.
The latest TVNZ's Agenda programme revealed that the figures used by the National Party about the number of New Zealanders leaving the country are out by more than 50 percent.

Nats immigration policy bad for business

The National Party's immigration policy would increase the burden on New Zealand employers, expand bureaucracy and remove protections for kiwi workers, said the Immigration Minister Clayton Cosgrove today.

National has released a vague and illogical immigration policy that shows just how out of touch nine years on the opposition benches has left them, Immigration Minister Clayton Cosgrove said today.
