Government funds drinking water upgrade in Nelson-Marlborough

The Labour-led government is committing over $265,000 to the Nelson-Marlborough region to upgrade drinking water supplies in some of its small communities, says Maryan Street.

The funding is part of a $7 million contribution nationwide which was announced by Associate Health Ministers Damien O'Connor and Mita Ririnui today.

This Bill will further imbed the government's push to ensure that we have a land transport planning and funding system that reflects the sophistication and complexity of a 21st century society.
