We know that the one of the best ways we can win the election next year is by embedding paid, trained field organisers in our communities to build Labour’s party vote.
We’ve seen the impact of strong field campaigns overseas and in New Zealand during the Local Body elections and the Mt Roskill by-election. It’s a key part of our strategy to change the Government next year.
Right now, we’re looking to hire four paid organisers to run our field campaign – two in Auckland, and one each in Wellington and Christchurch.
These people will be responsible for implementing Labour’s field campaign – managing teams of volunteer field campaigners and implementing our field strategy, with a strong focus on direct voter contact and training.
This represents a huge upskilling of our campaigning across the country and is incredibly important.
Applications for these jobs are underway right now and you can read the job description here.
If you’d like to apply, please email your full application to Chrissy Real at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Monday 19th December.
It’s a fun role and successful applicants will be pioneering a new model of organising for New Zealand Labour.
