Political Filmmaking in the Time of the First Labour Government & Election Campaigns Face-to-Face, 1969-2002

The Labour Party turns 100 in 2016, and to commemorate Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision has put together a 50-minute screening. The compilation includes films made by the Labour Government during their first term in office 1935-1949, as well as a selection of party political broadcasts made by the Labour and National Parties during election campaigns from the late 1960s to early 2000s.

The screening starts at 6 pm and is first in, first served. The cafe will also be open for coffee, or a glass of wine or beer.

Ticket cost: $10 / $8 concession
