Meet Jenny Salesa
Raised with values of service and hard work, I am committed to social justice, ensuring positive health and educational outcomes, healthy housing, equal opportunities and fairness for all.
I have been honoured to serve for nine years as the Member of Parliament for our community.
As the mother of two children, I live locally in the Panmure-Ōtāhuhu electorate with my husband, teenage daughters and elderly parents.
My commitment to social justice and passion for warm housing, ensuring better health and educational outcomes and fairness for all inspired me to join the Labour Party and to enter politics, so I could make a difference in people’s lives.
We have built homes for families. We’ve helped with the cost of living by lifting the minimum wage, creating the Winter Energy Payment, increasing superannuation, cutting the cost of public transport, and creating good jobs. We’ve invested in health, education, and public services.
There’s still a lot more to do. It’s not the time for cuts. Your vote is very important. At the election in October, please vote two ticks Labour.
