Earlier this month, we set up a new "one-stop shop" service for Canterbury's earthquake claimants.
In its first week, more than 100 people signed up to the Greater Christchurch Claims Resolution Service (GCCRS).
We're thrilled with the response to GCCRS. It means that people are in great need of such a service - and it means we can get on with getting claims resolved as quickly as possible, so the people affected are able to move on with their lives. Read more here.
We're doing a lot of work for Greater Christchurch and Canterbury. We're speeding up recovery by delivering an Acceleration Fund, we're establishing a Canterbury Earthquakes Insurance Tribunal, and we're putting mental health workers in Canterbury schools.
