Ko Peeni Ereatara Gladwyn Henare ahau. Nō Te Aupouri, Ngāti Kahu, Ngāti Hine, Ngāti Manu, Te Kapotai, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Whātua, Te Whakatōhea, Rongowhakaata me Ngāti Kahungunu.
Peeni Henare has proudly served as a Member of Parliament for nine years and a Minister for six years.
Positive gains have been made in all areas to improve the health and social wellbeing of Māori across Aotearoa and in Tāmaki Makaurau. A vote for Peeni Henare this election is a vote for progress, to ensure Māori in Tāmaki Makaurau continue to get the support they need and their voices are heard. Prior to politics Peeni worked as a businessman, public servant, broadcaster and teacher.
He lives in Mt Wellington, Tāmaki Makaurau with his partner, Skye Kimura.
