There’s more work to do, and as your representative I commit to it.

It’s one of the great honours of my life to serve as your representative in Parliament.

As the MP for Te Tai Tonga, and as a Minister, I’m proud to have played my part in the historic investments our Government made and is making into Māori communities. In the last three years we’ve helped fund and  deliver papakāinga housing in Murihiku Southland, tourism infrastructure in Te Tai Poutini West Coast and Hauora health facilities in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

These investments, and the service I give to whānau as your advocate in Government and Parliament, is my why. And in this election I’m standing again. In Budget 2023 we made a commitment to funding whānau, whare, and whakapapa with investments in everything from the homes that keep our young ones warm and dry to the kōhanga that help keep our language alive.

But there’s more work to do, and as your representative I commit to it.
