Sarah PallettCandidate for Ilam
Meet Sarah Pallett
A powerful advocate for Ilam – focused on the real issues that matter to our community
Sarah was honoured to be elected in 2020 as the MP for Ilam, and lives in the electorate with her husband, Andy. She is currently Deputy Chair of the Petitions Select Committee, a member of the Health Select Committee, and is Chair of Labour’s Wāhine Caucus.
An accessible and visible local MP, Sarah has built relationships throughout Ilam with businesses, schools, retirement villages and numerous community organisations. She’s helped literally hundreds of people who have reached out for assistance, with issues ranging from immigration to housing, ACC claims to COVID concerns.
She’s spoken out against discrimination in all forms, to ensure that everyone in Ilam feels they belong, can actively participate, and have the same opportunities irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, or background.
With a positive attitude, an ethic of hard work, and boundless energy and enthusiasm, Sarah is seeking a second term to ensure the Ilam community continues to have an MP who is focused on the real issues that matter to them.
