The mighty "Waikato" is who we are, green & pristine! Rolling hills, lush lands, longstanding communities throughout our region. For me, if you're a Labour supporter you care about others, as I do.

A longstanding Labour supporter, affiliated member, and party member. My influential connections stem from the Union movement of 14 years, the Maori Womens Welfare League and being born and bred in the Waikato.

Things that matter to me:

• Supporting our farming and rural communities, how do we cope with climate change, flooding, drought, soil erosion and biodiversity loss.
• Continued emphasis on the cost of living and food prices.
• More emphasis on affordable housing for low-income earners.
• More investment in community infrastructure & initiatives.
• Stronger laws on vaping and liquor licensing.
• Stronger laws on youth crime.

Representing the people of our community and townships is paramount. My electorate has more than 22,500 constituents living in a land mass the size of Auckland. We deserve more representation in our Electorate.

Labour is my Party, we know where our priorities lay. Returning a Labour Government for another term is our one priority.
