Help us save free and half price public transport

The new Government’s plan to scrap free and half price public transport for people under 25 will make life more expensive for families with kids and young New Zealanders. 

In the middle of a cost of living and climate crisis, this will make it harder to choose affordable and sustainable transport options. 

In Government, Labour permanently cut the cost of public transport for young Kiwis to make life more affordable and to reduce climate emissions. 

Now, National wants to scrap free and half price fares to fund tax cuts for mega landlords, instead of helping people with the cost of living like they promised during the election campaign.
