"I’m standing because the people of Whangārei cannot afford three more years of this National Government."
I have looked after the people of Whangārei for the last 18 years as an emergency doctor. I want to advocate for you in Parliament.
In our community people are struggling with the cost of food, power and visiting the doctor.
This National Government has given billions of our tax dollars to oil companies, tobacco companies and property speculators but have made life harder for our teachers, nurses and firefighters.
Local businesses are collapsing, unemployment is up and record numbers of New Zealanders are leaving for overseas.
We’ve got to push back. You can count on me to be fearless in fighting for you.
I'm not just standing for a seat — I'm standing for whānau, for fairness, and for a future where regular people are the priority.
