My name is Barbara Edmonds. I’m a mother of eight, specialist tax lawyer, and Labour’s Finance Spokesperson. Titahi Bay, Porirua has been home to me, my husband Chris and our eight children for the past 17 years.

I was brought up in a Labour household and have been moulded and shaped by core Labour values. The safety nets provided by previous Labour governments meant that as a child, I never fell through the cracks. That is the future I firmly believe every child growing up in New Zealand deserves.

That’s why I’m running to be the MP for Kenepuru and fighting for a more affordable New Zealand - so that you can set down roots in your local community and here in Kenepuru, raise a family, work and do business, and build a good life.
