I’m a millennial Māori, pāpā of two, a successful Māori business owner, and I’ve spent my working life in the revitalisation of te reo Māori, Māori media, waiata reo Māori, in kapa haka at the highest level, and in building winning teams.

In my earlier career, I was a presenter on the award-winning children's television show, Pūkana, a co-founder and artist of the award-winning viral Māori pop sensation, MAIMOA, and recently, I have built a Māori media company called Mauri Media - behind shows like Waiata Nation, Hurō Pēpi, Under The Whāriki, and Autaia Haka Theatre to name a few.

My decision to step forward has been shaped by lived experience: raising children, navigating limited Māori educational opportunities and failing health systems, supporting whānau through loss, and seeing firsthand where our systems fall short.

What I bring is an authentic, real representation of Māori success.
