Warrick Cleine MBE is a senior and internationally respected business leader. He has written and spoken on topics related to governance, political strategy, taxation, geopolitics, foreign, economic and trade policy to business peers across the world.

Warrick serves on KPMG’s Asia Pacific Board and Global Council. He is Chairman and CEO of KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia and Managing Partner of the firm's Deals, Tax, and Legal practice. He was previously KPMG’s Asia Pacific Head of Tax and Legal and Global Leader of High Growth Markets for Tax and Legal.

Outside of KPMG, Warrick is Chairman of the British Corporate Advisory Council (under the auspices of the British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam) and the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. He is an advisor to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and an Honorary Advisor to the Asia New Zealand Foundation.

Warrick is an Adjunct Professor at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Visiting Professor of Practice at the British University Vietnam.

In the New Year Honours List 2026, Warrick was made an Ordinary Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to trade and investment.

Warrick is a member (CA) of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and professional auditing bodies (CPA) in Vietnam and Cambodia. He is co-founder of the Vietnam Corporate Pride Network to promote inclusive workplaces and maintains the Cleine Collection of works by emerging and established artists from Vietnam and Cambodia.

Warrick has been an active member and donor to the Labour Party in New Zealand since 1992. He was born and raised on the West Coast, and started his career as a Chartered Accountant there after graduating from Canterbury University. If elected, Warrick would be based in Auckland with his partner and teenage son.
