Georgie Dansey lives in Hamilton with her partner Ruby and her two children Fallon and Johnny. Georgie is a unionist, and works for the Public Health Association (PSA) as a policy advisor and studies law at the University of Waikato.

She has worked within the union movement for over ten years, after beginning her career as a secondary teacher. She was co-convenor of Stand Up, the youth union movement affiliated with the CTU, before working for the PPTA as a field officer. Currently, she is working as a point person for Unions Waikato in developing a nationwide strategy to encourage voter turnout within union members.

Georgie is committed to build diverse, inclusive communities and equal opportunities for all.
