I’ve lived and worked in Hamilton for twenty years, and am choosing to raise my children in this awesome city.
I’m a former teacher, business owner and a union leader. I've spent my career advocating for workers and communities in Kirikiriroa.
My gym was the first in NZ to be living wage accredited.
Since the last election, I have stood up against the bad decisions of the current government.
In response to the Government's cancellation of pay equity and attacks on worker rights, I led protests attended by thousands of people.
When Te Huia funding was under threat, I was the Hamilton leader for the campaign that successfully saved our commuter train.
When the Government didn’t raise minimum wage to match inflation, I campaigned for Hamilton City Council to become Living Wage accredited.
Now is the time to stand up and advocate for our communities, and we need a strong voice in Parliament to do that.
